Thomas Richards is a self taught emerging artist living in Rochester, NY. Thomas started his artistic journey in digital photography when he purchased his first DSLR camera before going on a Hawaiian Vacation. With this camera Thomas started exploring black and white photography along with concert photography. Using the photographs, Thomas started exploring the world of Glitch Art by creating digital distortions on the images. From there he dove further into the world of glitching by acquiring circuit bent analog video gear for creating analog distortions. Thomas also incorporates generative technologies to create complex compositions that further push the boundaries of technology, world perception, and human expression.
